Family Camp #1 (All Ages)

Family Camp #2 (All Ages)

Thursday, July 6 – Sunday, July 9, 2017

Families with members who are blind or visually impaired are invited to share in the camp experience together at Family Camp! Participants can sign up for activities such as horseback riding, archery, swimming, the climbing wall, high ropes course, arts & crafts, music, nature and sports. Parents will enjoy a “Parent Night In” with a dinner and pool party just for them. Children will enjoy a special activity with camp staff during Parent Night.


Youth Camp (Ages 8-12)

Tuesday, July 11 – Friday, July 14, 2017

Campers who are blind or visually impaired can make friends and increase their independence skills as they participate in horseback riding, archery, swimming, the climbing wall, high ropes course, arts & crafts, music, nature and sports. Special events include a Pajama Breakfast, Campout at the Teepee, Evening Campfire Programs, Talent Night, and Awards Night.
*Sighted Buddies, ages 8-12, may apply to attend this session. There will be a $150 registration fee for all Sighted Buddies.


Teen Camp (Ages 13-18)

Monday, July 17 - Friday, July 21, 2017

Campers who are blind or visually impaired can make friends and increase their independence skills as they participate in horseback riding, archery, swimming, the climbing wall, high ropes course, arts & crafts, music, nature and sports. Special events include Deep Sea Fishing, a Pajama Breakfast, Campout at the Teepee, Evening Campfire Programs, Talent Night and Awards Night.
*Campers may invite a Sighted Buddy of the same gender and within two years in age difference to this session. There will be a $150 registration fee for all Sighted Buddies.

Paralympic Dream Camp (Ages 10-18)

Monday, July 24 - Friday, July 28, 2017

Campers who are blind or visually impaired can make friends and explore the world of Paralympic sports, such as goalball, archery, swimming, horseback riding, judo, wrestling, tandem cycling and more. Through team-based challenges and games, this session will focus on improving self-confidence and empowering campers to be the best they can be. No experience required! Other activities will include an Opening Ceremony, Mini Tournaments, Evening Campfire Programs, Talent Night and Awards Night.
*Sighted Buddies, ages 10-14, may apply to attend this session. There will be a $150 registration fee for all Sighted Buddies.

Adult Camp (Ages 18+)

Monday, July 31 - Thursday, August 3, 2017

Adult campers who are blind or visually impaired can increase their independence skills as they participate in horseback riding, archery, swimming, the climbing wall, high ropes course, arts & crafts, music, nature and sports. Special events include a Dance, Evening Campfire Programs, Open Mic Night and Awards Night.

* PLEASE READ! Additional Adult Camp Information: Adult campers are required to pay a nominal registration fee of $25. Campers will be assigned to cabins according to gender. Camp Counselors are assigned to each cabin to assist, but do not sleep there. If a camper will need assistance with personal hygiene and dressing, an adult aide of the same gender may attend free of charge, but must turn in a separate camp application.

Deaf-Blind Reunion Camp

Saturday, August 5 - Sunday, August 6, 2017

Former deaf-blind campers of Camp Bloomfield are invited to return for our annual day of fun! Activities include horseback riding, the climbing wall, archery, swimming, traditional campfire songs and more! Meals will be provided. Campers are responsible for their own transportation.
